I help business owners grow profits, grow value, and grow as leaders.

From 2005 to 2018, I served as Joint CEO of the Australian Institute of Business (AIB), where I led the transformation of a small family-run business into Australia’s largest MBA provider and one of the nation’s leading private higher education institutions.

In 2016, I spearheaded a sale process that resulted in a top-decile Australian private equity firm acquiring 50% of the business. I continued as CEO until my departure in 2019, remaining on the board until the business was ultimately acquired by a leading global education group.

Over the past six years, I’ve worked with hundreds of SME owner-operators to unlock their business potential — helping them increase profitability, scale sustainably, and lead with impact. I do this through one-on-one coaching, serving on boards, and/ or making strategic investments in high-potential businesses.

In addition, I am a Growth Expert at one of Australia’s most successful scale-up incubators - coaching and mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs.

 

Over the last few years, I’ve helped SME owner-operators navigate virtually every business model, industry, and challenge — from early traction to high-growth scaling.
 

I am degree qualified and fortunate to have studied at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, including Harvard and Columbia University, and undertaken the AICD Company Directors Course.

On a personal note, I am married with 2 young daughters and have a passion for travelling the world with my family.
